Summary

Join House of Friendship's mission to support and empower our community members by volunteering for our After School program. You can make a difference in the lives of children in our community by providing valuable support and mentorship. Volunteers play a crucial role in walking alongside those in our community who need assistance with food, housing, community resources, or addiction treatment. By volunteering, you contribute to ensuring that everyone has a place to belong and can thrive.


At House of Friendship, we offer After School programming for kids in the community, and we're in need of dedicated volunteers at our Sunnydale Community Centre in Waterloo. As a volunteer, you will:


Interact with the children in our program

Plan and organize games and activities

Provide support to our program staff

Mentor children attending the program

To excel in this role, you should have a genuine love for working with kids and a deep respect for people from diverse backgrounds.
